The production is a one-hour Television Special and expanded Home DVD that captures the heart of Arlington Cemetery and represents the first in a series of original Television Specials/DVD Documentaries entitled the American Patriot Series.
Arlington: In Eternal Vigil is a powerful, inspiring and thought-provoking Documentary using Arlington National Cemetery as a platform for discovering the source of America’s greatness – our nation s legacy of service, sacrifice, and commitment to the key values of freedom and duty.
The program was shot entirely in beautiful high-definition video and features spectacular panoramic footage of Arlington, never before seen archival footage, a stirring original music score by Emmy Award winning composer David Barrett, and original interviews with prominent figures relevant to Arlington National Cemetery.
Arlington was produced by 45 North Communication Corporation in cooperation with the National Defense University Foundation, the Office of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and the Office of the Secretary of Defense.
At the heart of the Special are the great, untold stories of ordinary men and women, some known but mostly unknown, who, through their dedication and commitment, made extraordinary contributions to our nation and the cause of freedom around the world.
Arlington: In Eternal Vigil aired nationwide on broadcast network affiliates (ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX) in 191 of 210 U.S. Television Markets from 2006 to 2007.
