…Many years ago, I was in an office of a music executive, who was walking me through his version of the music business. He was very confident and very successful. I sat and listened…All of a sudden, his mother burst through the door and gave him a stern talking to. (I’m not making this up!) The only thing that didn’t happen was her grabbing his ear and pulling him out of the office.
She abruptly left.
Embarrassed silence ensued.
So there was that…we both thought.
I quietly thanked him for his time and made my way out the door with a song idea.

That’s me playing my chimpanzee piano style on the track, along with the usual musical suspects. But, it is worth noting that my friend Jon Pousette Dart was kind enough to play slide guitar on it. Man is he soulful…
