If you watch just one moment during the monthlong men’s NCAA basketball playoffs, it should be the final four minutes of the Final Four championship.
That’s when CBS airs a highly produced montage of all the alley-oops, hysterics (like, emotional sobbing), and victory dances from the tourney. And since 1987, that montage has been cut to One Shining Moment, an undeniably (if not stuck in the 1980s) up-tempo song about the glory of basketball.
