April 6 — If you watch just one moment during the month-long men’s NCAA basketball playoffs it should be the final four minutes of the Final Four championship. That’s when CBS airs a highly produced montage of all the alley-oops, hysterics and victory dances from the tourney. And since 1987, that montage has been cut to the March Madness song, “One Shining Moment,” a sports anthem about basketball. Thirty years after writing the song, Bloomberg talks to the composer, David Barrett, and his inspiration, at the East Lansing, Michigan bar where it was written. (Video by Alyssa Zahler, Amy Marino)
